Sajo! We're talking about MY problem here. Not yours.

Is this what you're talking about?

Yes, that's the Driving Mode option that will read new texts (and allow you to speak a reply) once connected to a car Bluetooth system, or you reach 15MPH. At least that's still there, I figured Moto would not remove that.

If the Keep Dark option is not in the newer version of the Moto App I have no idea where it would be. I wonder why they removed that?

That's what I'm saying. If I'd have known that it was going to go away, I wouldn't have updated. I was happy to have the option to set those hours and then didn't even get to experience it the first night with the phone.

I was lied to, man!

What did you download that updated? A play store update if the Moto App, or a new phone system version update? If it's the Moto App in the Play Store I will know not to update it.

Tbh, I'm not sure. I did get a system update. By the time I thought to check the Play Store, the Moto app wasn't showing in my recently updated apps, so I'm assuming it was part of the system update, but can't promise either way.

I am curious if you "disable" Moto, in the settings, then follow the prompts if it will ask you do you want to revert to the "Stock version" as it does with other system apps. This may be a way to reverse the update.

I had the same thought. I posted on the Moto forum about it just a bit ago, so I'll wait to see it anyone there knows if it disappeared before trying that option.

Not crazy about setting it all up how i like it again, but if it gets the result I want...

Got my answer!

Matt on the Moto forum says that the feature was indeed removed.

He said he'd pass along that I'd like to request it's return, but he's sure those things get removed because of lack of use. Understandable, but sucks for me.

I've been following the posts on the Moto Forum. I don't understand the lack of use answer, but I guess it is what it is. That's a bummer for you guys, but I hope they don't remove it from all phones that use the Moto App.

I mean, idk what it's like to code apps & build system images & that kind of thing, but I guess I can see how it makes for one less thing to maintain, so if people aren't using it, why keep it up?

I wonder how they know people aren't using it?

Didn't they start some kind of feedback thing, or was that Samsung?

I'm sure you agree to let them collect anonymous usage data at some point.

Yes, there is an option to send user usage data, and options for how much you want to send. Forgot about that.
