Motion detector

    I want to know does the X have an app that detects the speed of moving objects? I need it for a classroom activity I am doing.

    Since all apps work in most of the same Droids, lets move you over here and see if someone knows something about that.

    Apps can't replace hardware. There's no rangefinder or any sensor that could be tapped to do this. You might be able to do something with the camera and some math but the shutter lag would probably be very restrictive.

    you can always strap your Droid to the moving object and track it's speed with GPS :)

    I wouldn't recommend however...
