We have a large flagon of Motorola news on tap for you guys today. Moto just sent out invites for a new Soak test fo the Motorola Droid RAZR HD and Droid RAZR MAXX HD. We aren't sure if this is just a small incremental update or whether it is Android 4.2, but the signs are pointing toward the later. Here's a quote with the contents of the email,

If you are the optimistic type feel free to do a happy dance now. dancedroid

We will keep you guys updated with more details as they arrive over the next few days.

So there's no difference between the two builds?

I'm thinking that there is no difference, since the official change log lists both build numbers with only one set of specs.

WRONG! :) There is a difference and it depends on what version of JB you are currently on. See this post here for the differences in versions.

Im not sure if it updated or not, went through the hole process and everything looked fine, but after it booted it said an error had occurred not the software update failed like it usually does.

I was guessing based on the limited info in the release notes. Thanks for providing further information.
