Install from RM failed for me. I just extracted the .zip and put the folder into the backup folder in clockwork on the sd card. Not sure if this was supposed to be done that way, but it worked for me.
No need to extract it if using RM
Booted into recovery from RM and did nothing. No sign of anything being loaded. Just the menu showed up.
Extracting works though and can be an alternative if you run into this as well.
Not sure why it did this to me though.
I typically don't have any issues with RM

Some other kernel options if anyone is interested. These are made by jdlfg for froyo. As always perform a backup before installing. I haven't tried the kernels with this new build yet but I will let you guys know how it goes a bit later.

Well this is nice and all, but I'm going back to bugless beast until somebody comes up with a flashlight app that works on froyo. It's a very small thing, but not having it really sucks. I use it several times a day now.

your downloads are corrupted or you didn't put it in the correct dir. It works just fine in CW-Rom man. I just finished doing a nandroid restore over the last froyo install and it finished just fine.

Can I install this way like I did the first FroYo build?

Extract folder named.....
4. Place folder ..... in the /sdcard/clockwork/backup folder on your sdcard
5. Restart phone in recovery
6. Go to nandroid, select restore, select the above folder and press the camera button.

Thanks for the help!!

OHHHH, after opening it up it looks like a backup..

Yea, I just noticed that too. There goes my hopes of keeping all my settings. Crossing my fingers that Titanium has better luck restoring this time

The only problem I have is that I don't want to lose my settings. I just got everything back. If someone can let me know if I can do this without wiping and not getting any problems please do so.

Just re-downloaded and tried again from RM...same thing...not loading.
Doesn't matter where/what dir you put it in. As long as you navigate to it in RM...it should load it just fine.
Hmmm...weird.

Extracted again and worked the same way as my previous post.
Anyone else find this too?

I flashed this with out wiping data and worked fine. Like when 2.1 came out. If on 2.2 no need to wipe.

Hey now!! I just restored to it without wiping cache or factory reset, and all my apps are here too :) just as long as you weren't running a theme on the last Froyo, you shouldn't have to wipe.
