More Companionlink problems

    Does anyone use Companionlink ? I'm using it with Blackberry and Act - horrible product. Works then breaks. New versions sometimes work. Completely hit-or-miss (not a good trait for synchronization software).

    Now using version 4044 - anyone using ?

    My calendar records now will not sync. I've done "reread" and various fixes.

    Thanks for note - I submitted a case and did hear back - I followed instructions and I think it is working now - for new items.

    However there's about a week's worth of calendar entries/changes that are "stuck" - will not synchronize, can not modify, etc.

    So I tried to identify these, delete, and re-enter.

    Thanks for your help !

    I've been experiencing problems with CLX 4044 as well. I'm using it with Lotus Notes and Google. Hangs opening Notes files on hourly synch (hit and miss) but when it misses, it requires manual intervention. Didn't see this in prior builds. Stuck in a ticket to roll back but apparently you can't roll back.

    Does anybody know any "tricks" to get this software to work reliably ?

    I've tried only one-way sync, purging, etc. I don't care if I cannot edit on handheld - just trying to get PC to reliably pass all information and updates to handheld.

    Nothing works all the time. Losing records, Appointments get "stuck" on PC, etc.

    Sorry to hear you're having troubles. You mentioned reaching out to our Support team - would it be safe to assume that you're currently working with them to figure out what may be causing the issue? Just want to ensure that we're on the case!

    Support team does not answer - do you have a direct number ?

    Then I log a call - and I get the usual "form letter" - reread data, yadda, yadda.

    This has been going on since launch of version 4.

    Can I / should I go to version 3 ?

    My hourly synch with CLX 4044 isn't firing at all now.

    I will add synch performance with CLX 4044 is poor. Takes forever. This build was a real step back in my opinion. Regret upgrading.
