More Battery ?'s

Greetings..just received Seidio 3500 battery w/cover..how would I store the original battery for future use?..should I run it down to zero charge, or leave it charged?(I take it , it will discharge over time)..also I noticed the camera hole is much smaller..will it affect the pictures?..should I open it up?

I just threw my old battery in the package my 2800Mah extended battery came in - No Worries
