Download booster is the awesome feature of the Galaxy S5 which allows you to use both your wifi and mobile data connections simultaneously to increase your download speeds. This features was removed or otherwise disabled by Verizon. They would obviously prefer you to only use wifi to download large files. There has been a mod out for the variants of the device that were rootable. Now that the Verizon variant is rootable with Towel Root we can apply the mod to enable the download booster. You will need a few file from the link below, root, and ES File explorer with root mode enabled. There are only a few steps to the entire process.
