Do any of you have this app on your phones? It appears to do the same thing that DT Ignite did. That is, that it allows a carrier to install unwanted apps w/o our permission on our phones. I just discovered it on my phone, and after doing a search on the app, disabled it.

What is "Mobile Services Manager"? Did I catch a smartphone STD? • r/lgv20

I think DT Ignite just changed the name to Mobile Services Manager. I just looked in my System App list and it has the same logo as DT Ignite and is still disabled on my phone, because I disabled DT Ignite long ago.

I had to disable mine. And I agree, it is the same logo. The saga continues.

Mobile Services Manager is an application, usually pre-installed on most US Android devices, especially those running Android OS version 4.4 or later Firstbankcard. It is particularly common with certain carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Vodafone, and Verizon.
