mobile network disconnected

Hey all, I am having a problem with my data and voice coverage being cut off when I switch off from wifi to 3g. Once I switch off, my 3g does not kick in and my mobile network status stays disconnected until I reboot the phone. Anyone have any ideas?

I had this issue a long time ago, don't remember which rom (BBV0.5?). If memory serves, I fixed it by reflashing the rom with no wipes. Not positive as it was a long time ago. So keep in mind that I can't even remember what I had for breakfast yesterday. So good luck !!!

I do remember that a work around was to switch on airplane mode for a second or two.

yeah, i tried the airplane mode thing too. It doesnt always go into airplane mode though, until I reboot. It is frustrating at work when I constantly get disconnected from Wifi and then I have no service at all until I reboot.
