Mobile Hotspot Plan

I was looking at my optional features for my account, and I see the $30 unlimited Hotspot plan (which I thought was discontinued). I already have unlimited 4G data, so for those of you who have it, why do you use/need it and is it worth it??

The question is what would you use it for?

I personally don't travel alot, though a person who does I can see why they would want it.
