Hi I just got the SGN, I came from the Droid X.. Im sorry if this question has been posted b4 but how do you send an audio file via mms? Ive tried going to the actual file in thru root explorer and long pressing send to text messaging but nothing attaches to the text.. Please tell me there is a easy solution and Samsung devs arent that stupid? lol Im already mifted about the volume and power button positions lol

Thanks for any info..

It looks like the stock messaging app can't send audio, but handcent can do it.

Thanks, so your basically saying its a stock rom issue? I hate to have to use a 3rd party app to remidy something that should already be.. IMO of course..lol

You could always attach to an email. I prefer this over mms anyway, but that's me

I would maybe power down and pull the battery and let it sit for a few minutes then power back on.

There was an issue sending texts via wifi using the stock SMS app. Handsent and Gosms seem to be among the more popular 3rd party SMS apps that handle this without issue.

I think this is a far wider issue regarding the inability to send and/or receive MMS with the 4G GSN. There are many forums with owners complaining about the same thing. It appears that there are solutions that work for some people; other people it doesn't work for. Then, for some, it works some of the time following recommendations. There is undoubtedly a bug but whether from Verizon or ICS is yet to be determined from our forum readers. I don't think using a third party has helped across the board. Again, it helps some.

Well I installed handcent it solved my mms and sending ringtones issue since stock ics mms doesn't allow for it.. And for the SMS mysteriously stopping at random times I just got frustrated and pulled the sim and reseated so far so good..
