Someone asked to have a MM made so that there was no clock in the notification bar. So here it is. There is two version. One for Cyanogen 5.0.5 and one for ESE 2.1 build.

All versions for white are now up

This one is meant to work with a black bar and white text. Applying this will change ticker, date, ongoing, latest, and carrier to white. If you need the white for the rest of the things under the notification bar look here. http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dr...ph-bowerbar-orange-text-black-background.html

Attached is the MM theme to apply it follow these instructions
    Download the .zip file
Place file on sdcard in /sdcard/androidthemes
Open MM (if you don't have it, it is on the Market for free)
Hit the button to pick theme and click on the appropriate .zip file
Once it is done unpacking select No_Clock.cpy
When done it will ask to restart, go ahead.

    BB users follow these instructions.
    Download the .zip file
Place file on sdcard in /sdcard/androidthemes
In terminal or ADB run enablescripts (this has to be done to do what it says enablescripts)
Open MM and select pick theme.
Once package is down unpacking, select Scripts.cpy. (It may ask to restart, but is not needed)
Leave MM alone and then open ADB and type the following commands.

    ADB commands

    Code:
    adb shell
    servicesd
Leave either ADB where it is at and open MM again.
Select No_Clock.cpy and apply it. (Do not restart when prompted)
Go back to ADB and type the following commands.

    ADB commands

    Code:
    servicesys
It may make the phone reboot itself and do what is called a short reboot. If not just reboot the phone
It will take longer to boot the first time (this is a good sign that it worked)
    Clock should be gone.

I used xUltimate to remove the clock and took the modified services.jar to make a MM out of it. I have no idea how to just remove the AM/PM portion. The 2.01 version is not out yet.

The ESE 2.1 was tested on UD, so you are a go.

Thank you The Bowers - I appreciate the effort (from my request last night). Two things - 1) I promised to donate. . .let me know where and 2) if I have modified to have the circular colored battery icon, will this overwrite it or leave it as is?

    Thank you!

It only affects the services.jar file and will not touch the framework. So, all custom icons will not be affected.

Can someone who wants to have no clock explain why you wouldn't want one? Just curious.

Widgets like beautiful widget or even the new News and Weather widget does the job.

The one reason that I was interested in removing the clock is that I have Beautiful Widgets on my home screen and the time is large and displayed right at the top of my screen.. . and just above it is another clock that isn't all that necessary. It is not a show stopper or something that is overly annoying, but when I saw that it was possible (tried the xUltimate route, but couldn't get it to work) through MM, figured I would give it a go.

That's my story and I am sticking with it. :)

BB is the only rom that has issues with MM. I will look at the rom and load it and make one from it's services.jar to see if it helps people out.
