Looks like all MM themes are going to need to be updated with the new XML format. Just letting you guys know this is you haven't already noticed.

EDIT: here is a link with video and write up on new format http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6163180&postcount=49

EDIT 2: uploaded the old version for people needing it for themes with just the .thm control file. Just change the .zip extension to .apk

I thought they were keeping the free version of MM in the .thm format. Are they changing that too?

Yes this updates the free version. So going forward all MM's need to be in .xml format.

    Bowers,

Thanks for the link. I was just gonna start the research for the "conversion", and this link pretty much ended my search. I thought that it was going to be a headache requiring a new program to convert. Notepadd++ opened the template file just fine as a "text" file, so it looks like for my simple themes it will be a reasonably painless transition.

    Conversion

Well I have spent most of the afternoon doing the search for conversion. I have found numerous posts about how easy it it to convert, a couple touting an application that will do the converting for you. BUT no one tells you what/how to do the conversion and I have tried everyway I kow to istall the conversion program and failed.

So a small tutorial on how to convert - what to change when you open the thm in notepad+ or how to install and use the application from xda would really make my day.

    thanks for any help

The problem I have with this whole conversion is all the custom color MM's that I have. I know there is others in the same boot.
