Miui camera/gallery working

Hey guys i was just doing an experiment to see if the miui camera and gallery work on a rooted d3. Turns out they do with almost no problems. I say almost because it looks like the camera app may have a few issues but im sure that has something to do with it being a hardware issue.

All I did was download the apks and place them in /system/app named Miuicamera.apk and Miuigallery.apk

The camera also is a lot faster then default. So that's something to check out

I downloaded the files u provided and extraxted them and moved both the apks to my system/app folder and only the gallery would install. The camera apk wouldn't install..any idea y it wouldn't?

camera worked for me...did u set correct permisions on the camera?

what didi u end up doing..im having same problem...

I set the permissions the same as the rest of the files in system/app and just rebooted the phone. Didn't install or anything
