Miui 2.3.5

Just wondering if we will be on 2.3.5 after this weeks release? I know the Nexus S got this update recently, so I believe it won't be to long till we see it. Of course i am not saying it will add anything amazing to our phones.

I heard that MIUI synced with CM7 today, so that may bring them up to 2.3.5, not sure if they synced before or after CM7 updated from aosp.

Is there any particular reason miui isn't open source even though they use open source info? Doesn't that hinder development in the wild?

I am assuming because the developer behind it is trying to sell it to a phone company to be used as their OS. In fact, there is a Miui phone coming out in China called the M1.
