This may be the wrong forum, but I thought I would give it a try.
I have a Verizon HTC One M8 running Android 5.0.1. The phone is as up to date as I know how to make it. I wish to Miracast using a Roku 3 and am unable to do so. The Roku's mirroring setting (which says Beta) is enabled. In the HTC's Settings | Media Output window the Roku is listed. Tapping the Roku entry on the phone initiates an attempt to connect to the Roku, and it always fails.
Has anyone succeeded in this, and if so, are there settings that I need to know about that I haven't mentioned?
