I'm trying to decide on which brand to purchase, I've been considering A-DATA 8GB microSDHC Turbo Series and Transcend 8GB Class microSDHC both class 6. Does anybody have any input on the brands?

Update: I read great reviews for the both, decided to go with A-Data, 18.45 shipped.

I couldn't have helped you with which one to pick, but why didn't you just use the one that comes with the Droid? I use it with apps2sd just fine.

Well it's only a class 2 I'm using the 16 now and I waiting for incredible to get in, so I'll probably use the 16 for the incredible.

I know they say that you should use a class 6, but I never noticed a difference in speed or anything when I partitioned my class 2 sd card, and I could use apps2sd. It's up to you though. Just wanted to ask.

    Does not matter :)

Save your money. I've been running apps2SD for some time and it runs excellent.

Yea I heard of those using class 6 and didn't noticed any difference that a class 2, and even then no one has reported a gain in performance really.

The only app where I saw any degradation that impacted the app was Home Run Derby. Just before you start your swing there was a slight lag. So I put it back on the internal. Problem solved. I still put all of my big apps on the SD. I would like a class 6 but not enough to buy one.

I believe the Motorola Droid's firmware is only formatted for the class 2 card you could use a class 6 but it would act the same as the 2 while installed in the Droid
