Mhl adapter from monoprice

I bought this for my gnex but its really buggy sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. When it does its clips and cuts in and out. Anyone else having issues?

I've used mine with no issues, but it has been little use overall. I'd contact them they're usually good at sending a replacement
