messaging glitch

every once in a while I will recieve a message and it displays it as the wrong contact until I open it up. Anyone else experienced this issue?

I am having the same issue. I have mine completely stock. No root or anything. I'd like some help on this as well

Also, how do I change my calendar notifications? I never seem to get any other than an icon. I would really like to set an alarm.

fir the sms try downloading hancent or chomp sms they are imo better than the stock text messaging app and they are more costomizable
