Messaging backs out automatically

Just started this morning - I go into messaging to view an email. After about 3 seconds -- and with me touching anything -- the screen goes back to the email account view, then to the messaging view, then to the home page. Each transition taks about 3 seconds. Thoughts?

same exact thing is happening with mine. just started this morning also. universal inbox reverts back to home screen along with one of my email accounts.
