@everybody else: you don't have to worry about bad memory managent anymore.
    It's been fixed.
All phones can be fully loaded with apps and be snappier than when you bought it.

More physical ram by itself doesn't make the phone faster.
It only allows for better multitasking and running bigger apps/games.
Snappiness has nothing to do with the amount of physical ram.

When an app(s) needs to access memory and and there is no memory available, that app will lag.

    On your phones perhaps.

On mine, if the app is too big, it wont run
If an app runs, it runs fast.

Many DX2 and evo4g users suffered lag and launcher redraw too... until they supercharged ;)

Follow zepplonrox it will change your view of this phone. . Once I got the script running I was shocked at how well this now performs.. I will say this phone may not perform well right out of the box but a few minor tweaks and the phone will be what u imagined .. kudos to zepplinrox and all others who r developing for this device

    I've updated the script.
Now includes a MegaMemory device setting among other tweaks/fixes.

    Look in system/etc/init.d or /data.
    With root access
