Media Area/SD Card

Is the media area on the Maxx now being used to store apps being downloaded from the Market instead of saving to the SD card? Looks like most of my apps only give me the option to save to media area. So the SD card is only used for music, songs, videos?

Correct, you can move apps to the media area because the phone was set up to give a specific amount of storage dedicated to that.

Ok thanks . That doesn't make sense to me. All that storage space on SD card and can't save apps to it :-( . Now I have to be cautious of how many apps go to media area so I dont use up storage space I guess.

I was sorta amused by the space for apps too. However I was told, and it appears to be truth, that the amount of space given to apps is actually huge. I don't think I will ever use it all. We'll see
