Maxx getting hott!

My RAZR maxx here lately has been getting super hott. I have in in an otterbox because of my work environment. I starting downloading the update today which is taking a good 40 min so far...and in my picket I noticed its hott against me. I pulled it out and touched it its super hott. Says 114 deg thanks to a widget that tells me the phones temp. Is this normal guys? ??!

Yep its normal.. it's the processor. I'd keep it out of your pocket, just as a precautionary measure... let it breathe...

I have the same set up, it'll cool down after it is done. Temporary condition (unlike ICS, hope you like it)

So this update is ICS? Android 4.0? The update is done it's just been saying verifying update for like the last 30 minutes ....

I'm excited! How long did yours take? Mines been saying verifying update for a good 40 min now.... taking forever!

My Maxx got hot during the ICS update, but it didn't take 30 minutes to verify. Hopefully things work their way out for you.

Hmmmm..... my entire update start to finish (BUT I was on WiFi) took about 20 minutes.
