You must teach me your ways. I have yet to achieve 24 hours of battery up time.

What's the difference between using 1.2ghz from toolbox or setting 1.2ghz max from setcpu? Also, what is the default min MHz of the droid 3?

The toolbox sets the device speed. Setcpu can then see that new max speed and utilize it.

So what would be a nice new setting? Lower min. MHz to 200mhz?

If you start going lower than 300, the device will be slow to wake up.

300-1200 is a nice range on the D3

and 1200 works nice on MavROM*

*A good friend reminded me that just as an FYI, 1.2/1.1 is not guaranteed to work (nor will it) on EVERY phone.*

What happens if you OC and your phone doesn't "accept"?

Been using this on my droid 3 unlocked for att and it works great. Cant wait for the updates on the toolbox. Really not sure about overclocking on the droid 3 and this will be a new easy way! :)

Btw not sure if its a bug or my stupidity but if you quit or cancel out while downloading a theme when its not done and you try to download it later it will detect it as already downloaded and will install it and this happened to me and resulted in a boot loop. I had recovery so i was able to restore it but just putting this here. Also, the "media" sound is the sound for the button
clicks so to turn it down you have to go into settings then sound, but I think it should be part of the "ringer volume" so you can change it at the homescreen.
