So I get that ICS does support mass storage mode but because the gnex is single volume it can't be mounted as a mass storage device. Is there anyway to partition the gnex so we can dump music and pics on it? I've read through the forums but haven't found anything. It would certainly be a nice feature for one of our devs to incorporate into their roms. Any ideas?

Yes, so do I. The question is how can we mount that drive? For example, my honda civic has a usb aux in but does not support MTP, I need to mount it as mass storage device. Can't do that with single volume, so.... can we create a partition, which could be mounted?

Ah I see. Developer jeffv2 is working on something new called Arcane ROM and is taking requests. Might be a good question for him.

Figured I'd bump and answer this for others, our phones have a built in sdcard, the file system is FUSE which is different from fat32.... I am looking into ways to make a small file system to mount as USB mass storage then just symbolically link everything so it would copy all transferred files to the FUSE file system ... in theory I think should work
