My market is forceclosing like crazy! And i have maps on my phone but it says i need to install and it says that my apps keep downloading. Apps have been downloading/installing for days!! Also some of my apps aren't showing up but i can still use them.

I found that for some reason when using 2.2 and auto update that the apps install without the bar going across so if you leave your phone on that screen for a little while and come back it will have finished.. it's worked for me, let me know if you have the same results

On your phone go menu -> settings -> about phone and post the last few entries there and then we can proceed with better answers.

good luck

Thanks for the info. As for your market items 'still downloading' there is usually nothing you can do about it, as it has nothing to do with your phone. The market is on Google's servers and you are at the mercy of theirs and VZW's current bandwidth and server load. Much like how long it took droidforums.net to load this page to my computer. That is all there is to say about market slowness.

As far as your forceclose issues, try using the fix permissions function within ROM Manager which I see you have.

good luck

Well, sorry about that. Did you do a data/cache wipe before installing your current ROM? I also noticed that you are using an older baseband (radio) version. Doubt that has much to do with your problem, but I'll post some instructions and the file if I can just for kicks.

good luck
