Maps app eating up 50% battery life! Tried everything.. Help!

Can anyone tell me why under battery status my maps is eating up 54% of my battery life. I have GPS turned off and as much closed as I can. I even tried force closing maps under running apps and it pops back up. Any ideas? Thanks guys! Ps.. this is the maps app that came on the phone.

Try going into your location and security settings and uncheck the share picture location. I had this set and had the same problems. Unchecked it and maps is no longer there.

Thanks.. I just did and it seem to work. Also just downloaded Juice defender Ultimate. Hope this helps..
