While navigating in google maps who do I get to the layer where the images for turn by turn are actual photos of the landscape? Wild. I saw my house with my dog out front but can't figure out how to get to these images for navigation, thanks

Never use maps navigation...but during the navigation have you tried pressing menu and see if you were able to select a latitude layer?

I'm pretty sure it only shows that image when you reach your destination. Never while moving.

Actually, you can always get a street view of your next turn. While navigating, tap on your next turn and it will bring up the street view of that turn

Are you asking about satellite view or street view? For the former, Menu->Layers->Satellite. AFAIK you can't always have street view in navigation.
