1. You want that $100.00 in your pocket or an Amazon Fire TV don't you? Well here's the deal. With our new updated look we are in desperate need of an updated logo. The 'old' one has certainly served us well, but it's time. Find all the details here: bit.ly/1q0k6Wa

As the title says, I'm going to be developing my own rom. I want it to be very light weight, it's going to be focused on speed using minimal amounts of memory. I just need some idea of where to start, so I have a few questions.

Should a start off of the stock droid rom, or from another custom rom like CM7?

Is there a program out there to assist me in making the rom?

Do I need to do any programming?

Basically just tell me the basics of what I need to know to be able to make my own rom. I want it to be Android version 2.3.7 btw. Thanks.
