Ive read lots of info on making a backup for my DX, and my main issue is not how to make a backup... more so the lack of a detailed explanation elaborating on the differences in the types of backups available, what they would be used for, what backups are available for specific devices. Where i should store this backup, ect.

SO, what backups can i make with a DX?

I want to be as well versed in each area as possible before moving to the next.

    Thankx

Clockwork Mod backup in recovery to backup your operating system, apps, and data. A full backup. Stored on your sd card, and if you want, your computer.

Titanium Backup, Astro, SMS Backup and Restore, etc to backup your apps, messages, etc.
Stored on your sd card, and or your computer if you want.

mybackup pro or titanium backup can do apps AND data if you have root.

TIbackup seems to give a lot more options so i chose that.
