Okay so I tried poking around in here looking for help with my battery problems but couldnt find what i was looking for. So I bought 2 new batteries at verizon in the past month. So they should be good right? I woke up at 6am today. Texted a little bit. And by 8:30 am I had less than 5% battery. Charged it. Went to work at 9.... by the time I went to lunch at 2 it was turned off cause it had died. Mind you I can not have my phone with me at work so it sat in the office untouched. I have tried new batteries I have tried deleting apps that I had newly downloaded or purchased. I've had my phone for 4 months. It was perfect! Awesome battery, I only had to charge at night unless i was doing major using. Recently I charge it all the time, and it is lagging alot and freezing sometimes. Theres a lot of memory on it so text messages shouldnt slow it down right? Last time I did an sms backup I had about 22,000 texts, should i deltet any? Any help for my battery? Or it being slow? Please help! I'm about ready to scream here! lol

What Droid phone do you have? I had the same problem after I downloaded tikl app battery drained dead in 5 hours! You have something running on your phone that's draining it! Do a factory reset!

List what's running....

Or you could stop everything and what needs to run should come back on its own.

I have the droid x... sorry just noticed that question. I will try stopping them cause there is about 20 things running. And no I dont have a task manager? I thought I saw a post somewhere saying they dont help as much as people think? But of course i could be wrong on that one lol

Its true...they don't help much. Task managers = bad

So yeah go ahead and stop everything and see how it goes after that. If still bad battery might need to do a factory rest.
