I use a 13'' Macbook and also run Windows 7 via Bootcamp for school purposes.
I do use Parallels for XP, though I cringe every time I use it.
Got my first Apple at age 8, when my folks got an Apple IIe to use for their business. My brother and I wanted to play with it soooo bad. They made us learn how to type before we could use it. So we both picked up typing REAL fast... He's now a die-hard Linux user, and I'm still a Mac-Crackhead.
Desktop with 2 harddrives 1st XP32 , 2nd Windows 7 64 bit. Laptop 1st Vista 64, 2nd Win 7 64 bit. Both rigs easily upgradeable.
If everyone is driving in the right lane... I don't care how pretty my car is.. I'm not gonna drive in the left one...
PC 4 Me
Windows user here i dont hate macs i just dont like them.
Mac, pure Mac, and I was PC before Windows (an old DOS gal). PC at work, though, and I hate using it, so I take my Mac with me.
I'm wondering how I can sync my Mac with my Droid (sorry, but I hate the Droid calendar).
Seems like we have alot of Mac users here!
MacBook (Aluminum) and iMac both running Snow Leopard. iMac is dual booting Windows 7
I also created a new group called Apple Users under Uncategorized for anyone who wants to join
Clinging to XP at work (this is where my Droid syncs), running OSX Leopard at home. Droid connects to my Mac via USB with no trouble.
PC running Windows XPSP2 or anything after that including Vista and 7.
All in all from my job i experienced one thing: MACs r expensive and just for grafixx or eyecandy. Setting up a real productive Server/Client Network with active directory domain is just impossible with mac,,,,and that is what makes it count.
Linux is just good for office working, though it relly improved over past years to a good adequate for windows pc
