Apologies if this topic has been broached, but I recently flashed BB and I'm getting a "Low on Space - Phone storage space is getting low" error on the notification window. I barely have any apps installed, as I wiped data and cache before downloading. I can't download any apps - can someone help?

    Thanks

Idk if this will work for you guys, but it worked for me. My SD card was full, and I didn't have very many apps or music on it. Look in your "clockworkmod" (or something like that) and try deleting some of the nandroid backups. Mine had about 12 gigs on it, and once I deleted most of them, I had plenty of space. Good luck

I am having the same issue too. I am new to the rooting scene and just installed v0.4. I am now having the "Low on Space" issue in the notification area even though I have about 40% free memory. I tried the deleting some of the nandroid backups, but it's still giving me the notification.

    Does anybody have any ideas?

Dang just got the same thing today. I had never seen it before and had actually deleted all my nandroid files a week ago so I know it isn't the sd space. I moved 2 apps to the sd card so I figured that must have fixed it but I didn't bother checking to see if it was actually full or not. I don't really have that many apps installed.

I got the same notification, and I got rid of it by uninstalling some applications. But I really shouldn't have to--I don't have many installed at all. And I don't have many texts/any emails stored on the phone.

Anyway, I got it to go away for now. But I'm not sure why the alert at all. I cleared my cache and all, and still had only like 30 MB internal storage.

Yeah, I haven't run into this problem on either of my droids yet. Rest assured, if I do, I will try my best to fix it and post a step by step guide for others.

I got around this by wiping data 3 times, and then re-flashing Bugless Beast

FIXED: moved a ton of apps over to sd, now iim all good. I guess BB wants a certain amount of space open on our phone memory

Help, I have the same problem

I totally have the same problem. I don't have that many apps on my phone. Because memory is low, i can't use my google talk. I keep cleaning out my emails and it seems that is where it is sucking all my memory. Even when all of it is cleaned out, it still shows that it's taking up 58.80mb! This is crazy! I cleaned the cashe out of everyting!

    What is happening??

How did you move your apps? I tried to move mine, but the application manager wouldn't let me move any of the apps restored by Pete's new app restore process. The only apps I could move, were the new ones I downloaded.

if you are running bb and getting low space then you got to many apps. especially since pete made a good amount of apps install in a different place

i get 44 autorestored and have 125.08 mb left only one installed on sd card

I had the same problem yesterday when I put bbv5 on and my apps from my last rom set up weren't showing up. I don't know maybe I didn't wait long enough for them to load but I just restored to the ROM I was using before until I did some more research.

I will try again and try to move apps to sd card and post back my results.
