LOTTO App???

Thought of this the other day. I think a cool app would be able to scan the UPC symbol on a lottery ticket to see if you have any winning numbers. Not sure if this is possible, but I think it would be beneficial and why not use the technology that is out there. I'm not sure what binary code that they use on the tickets, but I'm sure someone could figure this out.
