lost the ability to donload apps

    My husband has somehow lost the ability to download apps to his droid razr...any ideas?

    From the Android Market? Is he signed into his Google account, you must be signed in to utilize the market.

    He said everytime he tries it tells him that he has to use wifi. We have the same phone and a lot of times when i have service,he has none. But even when he has service,he gets this message.

    Tell him to open the market, go into settings for it, and make sure that update over wifi only is not checked. See if that helps.

    You'll have to forgive me but since I do not have the device I am going from memory here. But under settings there is (I believe) a data manager. Have him go into there and look around at what there is. I want to say there was something about the market but am not 100%.

    Yeah under Data Manager, and Data Saver, make sure that is off. That won't download stuff from the Market unless you are on WIFI.
