Lost Data 2 days after GB update

    Help...lost data connection to 3G or 4G two days after GB Update.....Help

    Same here...no 4G and spotty 3G connection since Gingerbread update. Unlike some folks, I never had data connection problems prior to this update!

    I Use to love my Charge, but GB made this phone a piece of crap!

    Talked with VZ and Samsung reps and they said there is 4G data outage in NY area...not buying it. My wife has iphone and she has 3G...

    Cybercat, I concur....have been reading through various other forums this morning and learned about the 4G outage covering most of the Northeast region.

    Since I switched my phone to CDMA mode (3G) only, data connection has been better, but still drops for 10-15 seconds occasionally.

    Perhaps your wife's Iphone isn't having issues because it's not a 4G phone?

    I have the same problem. I first noticed it Tuesday 12/6 at 4pm. Thinking that it was just my phone, I did a factory reset, which I had been wanting to do since I got Gingerbread and my GPS issues remained. Anyhoo, my connection is usually down, and pops back on for a few seconds here and there. If I do a switch between CDMA and LTE, I sometimes get a connection for 30 seconds.
