Lose my root?

    Alright so I'm rooted. Don't have a rom. Looked at my system updates and have one for 4.5.596. I was wondering if i accept the update will i lose my root? Thanks.

    yes you'll lose root.
    .596 is not rootable yet. if you want root you'll have to either pass on the update or get one of the GB ROM's and flash it yourself

    Upgrading to a pre-rooted version is very simple. I did it all right from my phone. Just remember to do a factory reset either before or after. Use titanium backup to backup and restore your apps. That makes restoring to your previous state much easier.
