Looking for way to run OS on computer in order to play WordFeud.

Ok, this is going to sound incredibly dumb.

Is there any way I can run the Android OS on my computer, like a... ROM or something, and then be able to run WordFeud on that?
Specifically, a couple of my friends and my boyfriend are really into playing it, and I want to be able to play with them.

Is this possible?
I'm on OSX, but I can run XP as well.
