I've recently started to mess around with app inventor and would like to create an application that would allow the end user to select checkboxes to determine a certain group of criterea and then give a narrowed list of options.

Example of what I'm looking for:

    1) Open the app....we'll call it "yummy"

    2) A list of checkboxes appears on the screen labeled:
    Fish
    Steak
    Wine
    Desert

    3) The user selects fish and wine and then pushes the go button at the bottom of the screen.

    4) The app then brings up a list of the restaurants that I think are the best "fish and wine" not "fish or wine" restaurants for my city which I can then contain contact info for making reservations.

The web contact linking and phone calling I have figured out as well as image components.

My question is how to best narrow a large group of restauraunts down based on just a few different criterea?

    Thanks in advance!

Did I post in the wrong forum?

Is there somewhere else I should go to ask?
