I think Gingerbread is bad for battery life, so I'm looking to change my rom from UD

    Looking for:
Good battery life (yes I know it has more to do with the kernel, but I think that the GB roms have made it worst)
    Rich features:
I like the look on GB (overscroll)
I like the copy and paste
I like the battery view (not sure if this can be on froyo)
I want the pull down widget buttons
I'd like to skip boot animations
    Automatic backlight management
    LED settings
Ability to lock messaging in memory
    Timeout
    I'd like adblock
Long press mapping (for the home and search, also remap search)

    What looks good?

Sourcery Rom has most of these features... link to it in my signature. It is Froyo FRG83G 2.2.2

I think chevyno1's rom but it's gingerbread! But it doesn't use a lot of battery and it rarely heats (mine is 800 mhz) 40% before sleeping, 40% after waking up with wifi all night

Gingerbread has better battery! You probably just ignore the rules of battery stats after installing a rom...

Yeah Chevys simply stunning 5.3 is worth a try even if it is gingerbread, especially with any ulv kernel (ultra low voltage)
And to be sure about the battery stats being calibrated just look up Zeppelinrox's method, MUCH easier than the regular way
