Long file transfer time??

    Im trying to copy a 4gig movie onto my Stock ICS Nexus (VZN.) Its giving me a xfer time of 14 mins. Is that normal?

    I'd say that's probably about right. Did it end up taking the full 14 minutes? Usually the computer file transfer ETA times are never completely accurate.

    Supposedly, transferring via ADB is faster than MTP. I don't know for sure, but that's just what I've heard.

    Are you using the stock cable that came with the phone? Folks have reported getting slower transfer speeds with different cables.

    If you have access to a network, you can transfer things via wifi and often times that can be faster (depending on a lot of variables). https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sand.airdroid
