With a lot of gingerbread roms out there one of the main problems (at least on the OG Droid) the task manager is very aggressive. I was thinking if there is a line your can put in a terminal emulator to lock the launcher into memory very efficient is there one for other applications?

Project Elite v5 has the option to lock three apps of your choice in memory.

Yea I know some roms have the option to do so but I was mostly curious if there was one. I'm not too familiar with linux.
