Lock sound disappeared

I have a non rooted with no new apps and only an update to Vignette camera and photo bucket, which I tried uninstall but it's still gone.
Yes it's checked in the settings menu and I have done a battery pull
It's not that important but I do like knowing without looking it's locked before I put it in the holster so I don't accidentally change the volume or launch anything
Coming from an Omnia I know some apps don't play nice with phones but I've undone the only changes to the phone.
Is there anything else other than a hard reset I can try?
I've already backed up my apps just in case that's the only resolution but maybe those who have had theirs more than a month can offer solutions

Myvolume+ app has system volume control, was set to 0 somehow, app fixed it
Anyone know where the system volume is in the settings menu on the phone? dadburned if I can find it and don't know what turned it off

Isn't it a battery drainer? The myvolume isn't but it wants full access to my phone and ability to change my sd card so I used it, then uninstalled

Not to my knowledge, but I could be wrong. I haven't noticed any strain on my battery and I've been using it for a while.

The widget is what I read was the battery drainer.

And no access to my sd card needed like myvolume+
