lock app?

Is there an app to lock the screen like so u have to put a passcode in to get back into the phone?

This should be stock on the D2

Go to settings/location & security/set-up lock screen (or something) I have the D1 2.2 and this is how I access the menu

You don't need an app to do that, just go to settings then location and security and there will be an option to set a password there.

How about something that is a one time toggle, normally off but tap and locks?

Look for...hmmm...was it Lock Screen widget? Has the ability to turn lock setting on and off w/a tap, IRRC...so you set up your pattern lock or PIN lock in the settings menu, then enable/disable it from the home screen.

Not quite what you want, but might be close...
