Lock access to applications

I'm looking for a program to lock down access to certain applications. I already have the password enable to get into the phone but would like to restrict access to the gallary, text messages, etc.

Only thing I know of is setting up the pattern lock for the phone itself. I've never seen anything that is application specific.

I've seen several different apps in the market claiming to do this, but it seems like it's a 50/50 shot whether it works if you read the comments. Did you try searching the market using the keyword LOCK?

I've made posts about this and keep searching with no help yet. In theory it seems simple but I guess the programming side of it says otherwise

I just searched "hide apps" in the market, and HideNSeek costs. $.99, but it claims to hide media files and is disguised as a flashlight.

For $4.99...pretty steep, but Hide My Life can hide contacts, calls, and sms...

Looks like nothing/not much for free...

Yep, nothing like the lockdown app for the Iphone. With that app, you can lock down specific applications
