djj624 can you turn off your phone? if not pull the battery. power back up the phone and hold the power button and volume down. that should let you choose to boot into recovery.

Do you have a file called PG05IMG on your memory card? I think that's why it's running the update.

I put it on the card when i did the ruu update. What should i do connect to a pc and drag it off the root of the sdcard? I thought it needed to be there for the phone to work. Btw thanks for the help, appreciate it.

That file was just an update, it's not needed to run the phone. Do you have a memory card reader on your computer? If you do remove that file.

I had the same boot looping issue.

I was able to recover my backup image from before the 1.4 upgrade through CWM.

Guessing there is a real issue here?

Once you remove it do the same thing. Power and volume down, then choose to boot into recovery and restore from one of your backup. (Keeping my fingers crossed) :)

That's strange tough because I didn't get caught in a boot loop. like some people are experiencing. Strange :frown:
I never did like CWM... I always used SP Recovery on my OG Droid.

I'm assuming you are using your old phone right? if it's a motorola droid1 it should read the TBolt memory card. You can delete it that way. That's the only way I can think of.

Running great so far! Thank you for using Imoseyon's kernel as default. His kernel's are awesome and run the smoothest and safe quite a bit of battery life. Unfortunately he updated his kernels shortly after you posted your rom so I had to update but no big deal at all. Thanks again for all of your hard work and great product!
