Go into Tom manager and flash clockwork recovery. Power phone down. Once its off power up holding x on slide out keyboard. Now you're in recovery. Go to install, find download, click on that with camera button, find lgb click on that with camera button. That installs it. Reboot good to go

No problem...we'll help ya out. Place your *.zip rom on the root of your sd card. Go into ROM Manager and "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery" This will be the easiest for you for now. You can flash rzrecovery later if you want. Once clockwork mod is flashed, you can then boot into recovery. your volume up/down button is your scroll up/down in the menu. the camera button is the select button. the power button is your back button. in clockworkmod your see an option to wipe/factory reset. do that 3 times. you can check out the other menus to get familiarized with clockworkmod (i.e. clear bat stats). Once you've wiped x3, select install zip from sdcard, select the zip file, and you're on your way.

    To Jonandsurfer:
Hey bud, dont sweat, we've all been down this road before of "not knowing what we're doing" but if I were you I would go in the forum and the web and familiarize yourself with the basics of Rooting, terms, overclocking, and custom roms, etc. Just so you have a better idea of what terms people are using and how to do things. I rooted over a year ago so I wouldnt know exactly where to look but I know for a fact there is some "Basics of Rooting" or something here in this forum. So just read over some stuff, get some knowledge about what you have on your phone, then try to install it again. We're here to help bro!
