I thought about changing kernels, so I'll give this a try. Of course, I've been programmed not to do multiple flashes at one time...

I seem to be having an issue with notification sounds, when I reboot my phone my ringtone and notification sounds change. Any ideas?

Should the Wallpaper Gallery be empty? I feel like every single Liquid ROM I've run they've been empty.

That was exactly the problem I had initially when I installed 1.7. For me, it was fixed by recovering back to 1.65, updating TiBackup to the same version Liquid has in 1.7, redoing all of my backup then reflashing 1.7.

Still does not work for me, tried both his 1GHz and 1.1GHz kernels and wired tether (built in) still won't work. It does work with the Wired Tether app.

Have not tried built in USB tethering with Pete's new kernels but I will say these Kernels run like crap on my Droid compared to corcor67 kernels. Tried SV and LV for both 900 and 1000 top slot. I really wanted them to work since they are 'state of the art' lol but back to corcor67 top slot 900 main profile in setCPU 250-900 SmartMod governor (the ones posted for LGB). I have no idea why but there is a very noticeable difference in performance on my Droid when running corcor67 versus these latest Peter Alfonso kernels no matter what the settings, speed or voltage version (LG or SV). The corcor67 kernels win hands down on LGB 1.7 for me.

YES! v1.7 works for me! I had nothing but problems getting 1.6 and 1.65 to even install properly. But 1.7 installed and is awesome. Best version yet. Thanks for all your hard work Liquid!

Can you elaborate on operations you have compared between the two kernels. Or what is undesirable with the Pete kernels? I have not found a noticeable difference between the two kernels on my hardware. I accept that I may be looking through a different perspective.

Simply everything runs slower :) With corcor67 kernels on my droid everything is snappy, programs load fast, etc. I have no particular bias towards one or the other kernel except in my testing no matter what my Droid performs best using corcor67 kernels with LGB 1.7. When trying different kernels I always clear out the modules folder (if you don't do this then extra files are left over from previous kernels) and clear cache in recovery then flash the new kernel.

Further proof that when we're talking about tweaking, each DrOID is unique.
I got very similar Quadrant scores with Pete's 1.2 (avg of 5 consecutive runs was 1525) vs corcor 1.2 (avg of 5 consecutive runs was 1501) using the interactive gov and forcing the speed to 1200 in SetCPU.
Temp started around 85°F and after the runs was <120°F in all cases.
My DrOID hates the smart mod gov. it tends to run 10° to 15° hotter on that gov vs interactive on the same kernel.

Very True! Like I said I have no idea why but without a doubt very noticeable difference for me with corcor67 250-900 SmartMod governor performing the best and my Droid runs cool. Go figure :) Maybe it's the voltage levels on Pete's kernels but I did try both SV and LV top slot versions 900 and 1000. My Droid is snappy and fast again running corcor67 250-900 and it is even faster with the 250-1000 or 250-1100 but I get much better battery life with the corcor67 250-900.

My Droid never ran so good. Think I am stuck with Gingerbread, quite possibly LGB :)
