What about sync, gps, brightness, bluetooth? Those on all the time can drain the battery quickly. I suggest setcpu or cpu tuner(free), I swear the profiles help alot. Also what kernel are you using?

I am getting my best battery life with this ROM...but it's very deceiving when looking at the percentage.

100-60% lasts for about 2 days with casual to moderate usage

Then, once I hit 50%, it drops real fast. Sometimes it goes from 50-20% within a half hour.

Once I hit 20% my phone can last for about another 5-8 hours depending. I tried to drain my battery completely and was on 5% for 2 hours just listening to music and playing several games.

I tried doing several battery stat wipes but it doesn't help. Although I get weird battery percent readings...I usually go 2-3 days before I recharge and that's when I'm down to 40-30%.

mine just goes back to home...
don't matter to me, I keep Launcherpro lock in portrait mode due to my screen setup, look like caca in landscape...

this is actually the first time that WT has ever work flawless for me...
I have never used it much, due to it being so stubborn on my phone.
I tried it on LGB1.0 and it has worked like a champ ever since..:icon_ banana:

you can kick me in the nards, but where is the FAQs?

    edit:

that's not a complaint is it?

    12-15hrs here with moderate usage
stock browser brings it down quick! (always has, since the donut days)

    I have noticed:
at 5% I rebooted to RZ recovery, used the battery stats under extras and it showed 20% battery.

like you when I get on 5% it last awhile. Pandora via 3g 1hour with 100% screen bright today finally killed it from 5%.

+10 hrs on a charge and I am plenty happy with what I get accomplished.
my best "dumb-phone" (KRAZOR?) wouldn't do 6hrs if I tried using the music player which the phone was advertized as being...

Definitely not a complaint. Loving everything about this room. Although I checked out the bug posted a couple posts back (about putting the phone into portrait mode in the app draw) and mine also screws up. Never do this so I don't care...but there is a problem there.

Only problem I see is not being able to take videos at youtube quality. The phone jus hung and had to restart.

I use stock... I tried others dolphin, opera (both) etc. etc....
I always find my way back to stock...

Mine did that, I free memory up and it works I use autokiller memory app, but you may try the script in liquid tweaks to free up mb then record see if that helps. If so try the app for permanent fix..

Thanks Exayex / Blazed for the freq scaling explanation. I set it back to interactive because "on demand" felt sluggish on the home screen and I'm back to smooth sailing. I remember back in the LFY / BB / CM days (a while back) that my phone seemed to run best/last longest on 800mhz, so I wanted to try that kernel out again.

I get a very similar experience. Now there is no way I get two days, but I'll go for most of the day until about 6pm or so and I'll be at 50%ish, then during the evening it'll plummet all at once. It goes from 50% to 20% in about an hour, then it'll go from 20% to 5% or the lightning bolt all at once, but it'll stay there for a long time.

Then when I plug it in, it's at 20% or higher instantaneously, and then sometimes (more often with 1.1) it'll jump to 60% within about 5 minutes of being plugged in.

I reset battery stats back on 1.0. Thoughts?

What kind of battery are you using? cause stock out of the box never lasted 24 hrs let alone 2-3 days.

i'm confused then (in response to no task killer needed). i've read and been told many times on both sides, that it's needed, then some other people say it's not needed. should i delete my ATK or keep it? lol. sorry, i just want clarifications and justifications since i see so many contradicting posts about this particular subject.
