Now that sounds easy enough...just wipe data and cache and that will "undo" all the stuff that I restored from the backup? Then go to Ti and follow the directions you lid out? Does that sound correct?

one more question...as I de-select everything that's not green (seems like a lot!), when I get to the bottom of the list it has most of the apps I've downloaded from the market. They are in white letters with a line through them. Do I deselect these as well? Or only deselect the items that are RED?

Also, do I deselect the settings/bluetooth even though I have never run a LFY ROM before?

reminds me, I followed her directions with TiBu for going from 1.71 to 1.8 when I did 1.9 and oddly enough, at one point my Google, Facebook and Twitter accounts just showed up in place. I didn't have to sign in or anything.

Don't know why, don't care, just installed way too easy! dancedroid

The legend says these are un-installed apps, and when I ran the restore the first time it asked me to re-install them. Some have data that I don't want to lose, and there's about 30 of them so I'd hate to have to go search all of them in the market. Is that going to be my option in order to do this correctly?

All the stuff in white text that you want to restore happens in Step 8.

Jim, I believe those restored because of the green item "Accounts," which is restored in Step 7 of my guide.

With the slayher kernel running at 1100, my temps have been running up into the 130s according to SetCPU. What would be considered a "safe" operating temperature? Should I set the temp profile to kick in at 122 F? Lower?

Battery life is one thing, but I sure don't want to fry anything.

yep...just figured that out. I know I need to get rid of the UD stuff, but not sure what all I should get rid of. Example...wireled and wireless tether. I got these through UD. Can I keep them? Also, I see UD Parts and Spare Parts, which I will get rid of, but I also see "Extra Settings 2.2.1 Not sure what that is. Better to keep it or get rid of it?

I wouldn't restore the Extra Settings 2.2.1. Wireless Tether you can get in the Market and I would do that, I think, rather than restore the app from UD (but it should be fine to restore data only after you get the app in the Market). If I were you, I would get wired tether from here: Downloads - android-wired-tether - Project Hosting on Google Code.

Thanks for your help. Looks like I lost a few apps and Ti didn't put anything on my SD card, even though I made sure to check Force to Same Location. No big deal...I'll just find the apps I need and re-set up things. I truly appreciate your help. Now to install Watermarkd and see how cool this ROM is.

Forget what I said. The problem with batt. life is with the new kernels. Old kernels in 1.7 work better but have a bad temp monitor. New ones have working temp monitor but bad battery life. So try the old kernels if ur gettin bad battery life.
